[Important] To all runners:Please be sure to read this thoroughly!

The race day is coming soon. Are you ready, everyone?
The instructions below are very important, so please be aware of them.

■Runner Check-in (February 19th and 20th)
 ・Runners, who applied through our English/Chinese/Korean website, please print out your number card (bib number) voucher and bring it with you. No need to give a list of health check to the reception.
 ・Please fill in the emergency contact and agreement sections of the voucher in advance.

■Access
 ○To Runner Check-in/Finish Area
  Subway Kyoto Station → (Karasuma Line 5 min)→ Karasuma Oike Station → (Tozai Line 5 min) → Higashiyama Station → (8 min. walk) → Miyakomesse

 ○To Starting Area
  *Please note food will not be sold at the starting area.
  ・JR Kyoto Station → (Karasuma Line 4 min) →Subway Shijo Station → (walk to transfer)→ Hankyu Karasuma Station → (Hankyu Kyoto Line 6 min)→ Nishi-kyogoku Station → (walk)→ Nishikyogoku Athletic Park

  ・JR Kyoto Station → (Direct Bus Service)→ Starting Area
   Tickets for the bus service are available at Okoshiyasu Welcome Square on 19th & 20th Feb. (Tickets are not available on the race day)
   For 1,750 people in order of arrival

■Race
 ・Number Card (bib)
  Please attach your bib to your outermost layer of clothing so that one is visible on your chest (with timing chip) and the other is visible on your back.
  Please be sure to fill in the emergency contact information on the back portion of your number card.
  Do not take off your timing chip off until you finish the race. Our staff will collect them after the race. Please be aware that if you lose or forget to return your timing chips you are required to pay a 2000 yen replacement fee.
 ・There are 8 closing points with time limits. Be aware that you will be unable to continue running if you miss any of the closing times.

■Other
 ・Kyoto Marathon Participation Guide is a great source of information including how to register, access to the marathon sites, precautions etc. Please bring it with you after printing out.
 ・Designated Kyoto Marathon Bag for Personal Items
  You will be provided a bag (70cm x 50cm) for personal items at check-in time. At the starting area, you can check the bag in at the baggage check-in counter and it will be returned to you at the Finish Area.
  Remember to affix the baggage seal to your bag, and then place your personal items inside; finally be sure the bag is closed tightly.
  Any remaining items should be taken to the General Information Counter to be shipped to the Finish Area (fee required).
  We can not accept valuables.
 ・Staff at the Help Desk during Runner Check-in, staff at the General Information Counter at the Starting Area, and at Finish Area are ready to provide multilingual support. Also please look for staff members with badges on their chests with “English” or “中文”, as they are able to provide support in that language.
 ・After finishing the race, please go to Otsukaresama Runners’ Square on the 3rd floor of Miyakomesse. There will be warm miso soup, massages, and foot bath provided free of charge. You can also purchase food at food stands.
